Terms of Service of amiBidesh

By downloading, installing, or using amiBidesh (“the App”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

If you use the App on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them. As the App evolves we may ask you to accept updated Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version.

amiBidesh is a free mobile application built to help Bangladeshi migrant workers living abroad. It provides tools for tracking important documents and their expiry dates, comparing live remittance rates, AI-assisted employment-contract analysis, embassy and emergency information, prayer times, migrant news, and access to community resources.

amiBidesh is an information and organization tool. It is not a bank, a money transfer service, a law firm, a government body, or an immigration adviser, and it does not act on your behalf in any of those capacities. Any decision you make remains your own.

You must be at least 13 years old to use amiBidesh, and old enough to form a binding agreement under the laws of your country of residence. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individual migrant workers and their families. It is not directed at children under 13.

amiBidesh does not require you to create an account, and we do not keep a database of users on our servers. The information you enter — your profile, documents, and contract analyses — is stored only on your device, exactly as described in our Privacy Policy.

Because your data lives on your phone:

• Keeping your device secure — for example with a screen lock (PIN, fingerprint, or password) — is your responsibility.
• If you uninstall the App or use the in-app logout, your locally stored data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.
• Keeping your own backups of important documents is your responsibility. We cannot restore data we never held.

You agree to use amiBidesh only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App to break any law or violate anyone else's rights.
• Upload content that is not yours to share, or that is unlawful or harmful.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or interfere with the App or the servers it connects to.
• Use automated systems to overload, disrupt, or scrape our services.
• Resell, rent, or commercially exploit the App or its content without our written permission.

We may limit or stop your access if you use the App in a way that harms other users or our services, or that breaks these Terms.

The document reminder feature is designed to help you keep track of expiry dates for passports, akama/iqama, visas, and similar documents. Reminders depend on the information you enter and on your device settings — such as notification permissions, battery-saver modes, and the device clock — and may be delayed or fail to appear for reasons outside our control.

When you choose to analyze an employment contract, the App sends the image to a third-party AI service (Google's Gemini) to extract and summarize the text. This analysis is generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong.

amiBidesh displays remittance and currency rates gathered from third-party sources so you can compare options. These rates are indicative, may be delayed, and can differ from the actual rate a provider offers at the moment you send money. Rates change constantly and are updated periodically, not in real time.

amiBidesh does not process, hold, or transfer money, and is not affiliated with — nor an agent of — any bank or money transfer operator shown in the App.

Embassy details, emergency numbers, prayer times, news, and community links are provided for your convenience and gathered from public and third-party sources. This information may change, be delayed, or contain errors.

In an emergency, always rely on official government and embassy channels and local emergency services — not solely on the App. Prayer times are calculated for your approximate location and may differ slightly from your local mosque or preferred calculation method.

The App relies on third-party services — such as Google's Gemini AI for document and contract processing, and currency and rate providers — to function. Your use of features that depend on these services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Which data is sent to each service, and when, is described in our Privacy Policy.

amiBidesh — including its name, logo, design, text, and software — is owned by Microters LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal use, in line with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App or its content without our written permission. The documents and content you add to the App remain yours; we claim no ownership of them.

amiBidesh is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information it shows is complete, accurate, or current. You use the App at your own risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Microters LLC and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, money, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility. This includes, without limitation, losses connected to missed reminders, AI analysis, remittance rate information, or third-party services.

Because the App is provided free of charge, to the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to use the App — which for the core features is zero. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We are actively developing amiBidesh and may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue the App, at any time. We may also update these Terms as the App evolves.

When we update the Terms, we will post the revised version at this URL and update the “Last Updated” date, and significant changes may be announced through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, please stop using the App.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh — unless mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there instead.
